software, and tools) to lead the Web to its full
potential as a forum for information, commerce,
communication, and collective understanding."
Dr. Robert Keiller, a member of the W3C
Voice Browser Working group since its inception,
joined VoxSurf in July 2000 as the Head of Voice
Development. VoxSurf continues to work with the
World Wide Web Consortium to develop new tools
for the voice-enabled web.

with establishing and promoting the Voice Extensible
Markup Language (VoiceXML), a new specification

members of the Voice XML Forum, have participated
in the initial development of VoiceXML and deployed
the first commercially available VoiceXML 1.0 and
VoiceXML 2.0 compliant messaging solutions, paving
the way for the dramatic growth in voice-enabled
access to the Internet.
